Disaster Victims

Over 50 victims of the Eastland Ship Disaster and the Iroquois Theater Fire are buried through out the Forest Home Cemetery. Victims of the smallpox epidemic are buried in an unmarked section near the expressway. Two victims of the gang related St. Valentine's Day Massacre are also buried in the cemetery.
